Dr. Stacey Gonzales, Director of Educational Partnerships
Dr. Stacey Gonzales is Director of Educational Partnerships for Insight ADVANCE.
She is an enthusiastic, student-centered thought-leader and innovator. Stacey began her 20-year career in public education as a high school English teacher. She has served in various district leadership roles including Chief Academic Officer and Director of Innovation for the 3rd largest school district in Illinois, and most recently Assistant Superintendent of Instruction.
From building an online learning consortium between three school districts to creating a teacher pipeline to address equity and teacher shortages in Illinois, Stacey has led numerous successful initiatives to enhance students' educational outcomes. She believes in the connection of people and pedagogy to increase authentic learning experiences for students. She has received multiple awards and recognitions for her contributions to the field of education, including the Top 30 Technology Trailblazer in 2017.
Dr. Gonzales has a Bachelor's in English with a minor in secondary education, a Master's in Literature, a Master's in Educational Leadership, and a Doctorate in Educational Technology from Northern Illinois University with a research focus on teacher's technology integration and efficacy.
