Don Rescigno, CEO

Don Rescigno is CEO of Insight ADVANCE.

In this role, Don leads a team responsible for delivering teachers, instructional coaches, and administrators cutting-edge solutions, like ADVANCEfeedback®, that use the latest in audio and video technology to provide meaningful feedback and support to teacher growth through video-based observations, peer feedback, and instructional coaching. In recent years, he has led the ADVANCE Suite product innovations--including collaborative coaching features, ADVANCEcalibrate, creation of the ADVANCEfeedback® iOS app, and synchronous video via ADVANCElive.

Don has been an edtech leader and innovator for over 20 years and comes from a family of educators.

An experienced marketing and business development executive and product innovator, he has created, marketed, and sold award-winning products recognized by Google, SXSW, District Administration Magazine, eSchool News, Tech & Learning Magazine, and others. Don is widely known for being the creator of StrataLogica™, a social studies edtech product used in schools around the world.

A large part of Don’s career—15 years—was spent at K-12 social studies publisher Herff Jones | Nystrom. There, he served as Vice President of Marketing & Product Development and helped the 100-year-old print-based publisher navigate market shifts like NCLB and CCSS, while also converting the product line to digital.

Don has been a featured contributor on the Google blog, eSchool News, and Information Week, and has presented at education events throughout the United States and overseas in London, Dubai, and Riyadh. In 2015, he was a featured speaker at the annual EdNET Conference, the education business industry’s premier networking event--along with appearances at EdSurge and NELW conferences.

Don holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Loyola University Chicago.
