Job Opportunity: Marketing Specialist


Reporting to the President, the Marketing Specialist is responsible for maintaining procedures and executing various marketing activities to increase brand awareness, position Insight ADVANCE and its executives as thought leaders in the space, elevate the ADVANCE Suite in the market and drive lead generation. The Marketing Specialist will work closely with the Founder, President, Director of Sales and other team members to build support for the company’s approach and product demand with district and school administrators, coaches and teachers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work to build an engaged client list and prospect list
  • Support social media accounts—LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube
  • Use Hubspot for website updates, edits and postings
  • Lead efforts to maintain market-relevant and consistent blogging
  • Help establish a Community of followers
  • Identify and help recruit brand advocates and ambassadors
  • Identify PR opportunities and work with our PR agency
  • Focus on developing and maintaining a strong content marketing calendar
  • Assist with the creation of brand and product videos
  • Execute marketing and sales email campaigns
  • Own marketing data in CRM
  • Suggest new tactics for search engine optimization
  • Assist with logistics for industry conferences
  • Organize and help facilitate company webinars
  • Maintain marketing materials
  • Identify industry award opportunities
  • Track marketing performance metrics
  • Maintain and contribute to competitor analysis
  • Sales deck and other presentation needs
  • Establish marketing performance metrics that help increase and maintain activity, opportunities generated
  • Administrative duties as assigned by company leadership team

Ideal candidate qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or higher
  • Ability to manage priorities and work independently
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, meets deadlines
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills required
  • Proficiency with Excel, Power Point, Word, Gmail, basic coding skills
  • Experience with and Hubspot (or other sales and marketing automation software applications), preferred
  • Past startup experience is a plus
